Nearly 50 years ago, CENTURY 21 Legacy opened its doors with a simple mission - to serve our community with care, dedication, and integrity.
From the start, we understood that achieving that mission meant surrounding ourselves with the very best people. By investing in personalized training and creating an encouraging, team-oriented environment, we’ve built a culture where agents can grow, thrive, and lead with excellence. This commitment has helped Legacy become home to some of the top agents in the region, and continues to attract those who share our drive to be the best.
But our dedication doesn’t stop at real estate. Through our Leaving a Legacy program, we’re proud to give back to the communities that have given us so much, supporting local causes, lending a helping hand, and making a difference wherever it’s needed most.
1978
The Start
Billy Williams opened one of Tennessee's premier CENTURY 21s in Greeneville, Tennessee.
2004
New Management
Jamie Skeen took the reigns as the company's President and CEO. He would later rename the company to CENTURY 21 Legacy to honor the years passed and as a promise for the years to come.
2008
Kingsport
The first expansion took us to Kingsport, Tennessee where we still have two offices.
2008
World Wide Connections
That same year saw the start of our Relocation Department, opening up connections to agents and clients across the nation.
2010
Property Management
Soon after, Legacy started the Property Management Department to service renters and manage properties for investors.
2014
Tri-Cities
We then opened up our first office in Johnson City, expanding our coverage in the Tri-Cities area.
2017
A New Region
We expanded up our services to Knoxville with our new addition in 2017.
2018
A Big Hit
After the success we saw in the Knoxville area, we quickly added an office to service Maryville.
2020
The Missing Link
With two successful regions, we wanted to link them and opened our offices in Gatlinburg and Townsend.
2022
A New Horizon
Then we looked south to see where we could provide service to more of East Tennessee and opened our newest location in Athens.
Beyond
Continuing Our Legacy
While no one can know what the future holds, we know that we will be here giving 121% and providing the excellent service we are known for.
